Based in Stockholm, Sweden, which is a fairly small city for being a capital without any major tall rising buildings, he was amazed of the view from the skyscraper rooftops in Hong Kong and developed the concept for this project.

Reflections of ma

Eva Tsagaraki is studying sculpture and multimedia at the Fine Arts School of Athens at the 4th year. Eva’s interest is to capture the instant pause between two movements, known ‘ma’ in Japanese. Eva came across with this space of emptiness through her practice in Butoh dance. The photos are the recording of this experience, namely the flow of energy she experiences with body movement.
