The book ‘S T I L L G E S T E L L T’ is a collection of photographs, taken between 2004 and 2011 on numerous travels. David Hiepler and Fritz Brunier went to Israel, Iceland, France, Lithuania and the US, to China, Ecuador, Slovenia, Estonia and Brasil to take pictures for their book. As the titel implies the book deals with moments and situations that seem to freeze time and make it stand still.

It shouldn´t be a secret anymore that we are into craftsmanship, thus we were amazed discovering ‘The Makers Project’, a beautiful blog curated by photographer Jennifer Causey who started the page in 2010. The Brooklyn-based photographer captures artisans at work in their own creative spaces, and the results are just wonderful to look at.

Last week media art center Ars Electronica and Volkswagen Automobil Forum opened an exhibition with artworks exploring ‘impulse and movement’. Twelve exhibits as well as six video contributions of artists from Europe, US and Japan are on display until 16th of September in the Volkswagen Automobil Forum Unter den Linden, Berlin.
