Marzipan Cinamon Rolls

A little while its been silent at Aicuisine, many new jobs gave little time to cook and bake. During that time I’ve been to Hamburg a few times and as one of my favourite pastry comes from there, I couldn’t resist to bake these so called ‘Franzbrötchen’ myself after my return.

Fish & Chips

For a while now I want to try to cook a whole fish for Aicuisine, so when Glamour send me some recipes for a food editorial, I decided that a fish would fit to one of them. I also always wanted to make my own chips, so the idea for fish & chips was born! The recipe is very simple as you will see in the following.

Pepper steak with salad and pea mint puree

Yesterday my friend Marlen came over to Aicuisine and after a wonderful summer day I decided for a quick and easy summer menu, because we were both starving after a long long day. Being a photographer herself she now and then grabbed my camera and took a few pictures of me preparing the food. Thank you for that!

Grilled Fennel Mushroom Steak Sandwich

Todays Aicuisine recipe is quite simple with some character in the details. The list of ingredients for 2 people is quite short. All you need are 4 slices of white bread, preferrably french country bread, butter, grated carrots, 2 steak, fennel, mushrooms and 4 slices cheese, I recommend sharp cheese, like Cheddar or Gruyere. Pepper, salt, parsley and sugar are the spices you need.

Prussian Spirits Factory

Aicuisine went back in time in Berlin Wedding where this place was a school where you could learn what makes liqueur so special. Today they produce very special liqueur and it’s the last spirits factory of its kind. If you enter the holy halls of Gerald Schroff and Prof. Dr. Ulf Stahl you realise that this is a place of passion, with love for details.
