A Remote Wooden Holiday House By Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter

Words

Oslo-based architecture studio Reiulf Ramstad Arkiteker designed the ‘Kiruna Guesthouse‘, a wooden home proposed to be built in a small town in Northern Sweden of the same name. Its unique facade, which is entirely made of wooden shingles, features windows in various sizes as well as glazed openings. In an attempt to integrate the structure into the surrounding landscape, the architects used predominantly wood in its design.
