Jean-Baptiste Courtier Portrays ‘White Helmets’ Performing Daredevil Stunts

Words

Photographer Jean-Baptiste Courtier who we featured previously on iGNANT is back with a new series entitled ‘The White Helmets’. The ‘White Helmets’ are a thirty-strong team of soldiers from the Royal Signals, the British Army Corps responsible for battlefield communications and information systems. The legend of the White Helmets started in 1927 with the first public display of soldiers from the Royal Signals on horses and motorcycles.
Nowadays the volunteers from the Corps – largely made up of engineers, logistics experts and systems operators – perform on Triumph 750cc motorcycles and hold events both around the UK and abroad.
