German photographer Kirsten Becken creates images that range between fashion, portraiture and documentary. With one of her latest series called Ophelia, she draws back to Shakespeare’s tragedy ‘Hamlet’, working around female desperation, disillusion and the desire for death while her series Sisters picks a quite contrary topic, picturing the sisters Emilie, Laura and Sofie in sweet affection.
