Shame on Me by Samantha Wall

Words

Korean artist Samantha Wall created a series of graphite works on paper entitled ‘Shame on Me’. With her works she aims to explore her inner self and expose the resulting internal negotiations.
According to Samantha, forces like emotions, drives, compulsions and desires determine how we position ourselves in the world and construct interpersonal bonds. However, introspective emotions such as shame, humiliation and pride provide opportunities for self-reflection that have the potential to expose these internal mechanisms.

If you enjoy Samantha Wall’s works, you should also take a look at Reuben Negron’s kinky drawings, that we introduced just recently on the blog.
