Bernado Bader's 'Haus am Moor' is very impressive through its simple, clear and minimalistic form. Around sixty trees were cut in the neighbouring private woods and used completely in the construction of the house. The seemingly satin like concrete, left on the surface in certain areas of the house, supplements the light wood in a very gentle and modest way. During the excavation work the earth revealed useful and precious clay that would serve as a base for the in-floor heating. The interior of the house seems very light and weightless. The welcoming atmosphere asks to habitant to dwell an simply relax and breathe.
