House T

Words

Architect Michiya Tuskano from Tuskano Architect office planned ‘House T’ for the downtown district of Miyazaki in Southern Japan. As we all know Japanese architects are masters of minimalism and this house demonstrates their skills again.

Considering the busy and noisy road and all the tall buildings around it, they came up with the idea to harmonize with the circumstances, having a piece of white concrete wrapping the whole home space. It’s even hard to find the entrance into this huge white cube. Thereby the house is seperated from outer crowdedness, while sunlight is allowed to come into the courtyard and with the wooden interior the inner space appears warm and bright.
