Our environments move rapidly and sometimes it feels like we have to adopt faster to ever-rushing changes than we can handle. Every fifth german suffers from a depression in his lifetime. Illustrator Daniel Stolle expressed these feelings in four drawings, published in the Stern magazine. The illustrations are depicting aspects of depression like lethargy, isolation, pace of living and environmental influences. Heavy topic but nicely adapted, or?

"One in five people in Germany are depressive" – that's simply not true and a stupid statement. There is a study that says that every fifth german will suffer a depression in his lifetime. But that is a completely different story.
