With Berlinstagram, Michael Schulz is expressing his passion for details. By his own account he is able to pass by friends and even his own mother without noticing them. That’s often because he is too busy with all other details and Berlin characteristics by the wayside – Socialist street lamps, crooked edges, crumbled facades, odd architecture, gnarled trees, geometric shadows, reflections and lots of other things. Michael portraits Berlin relentlessly with his iPhone and shares his discoveries via Instagram. It makes him very happy to get a lot of positive feedback for his pictures and meanwhile he has been able to turn his hobby into a profession. He is working in conception, communication and design at an online company. He lives in Berlin since a decade now and didn’t regret it once. If you’d like to see more, his pictures will be shown during Browse Fotofestival from 13.6. to 13.7.2013 at Marheinekeplatz 15, 10965 Berlin.
