Nuées

We all remember the summer days when we used to lie on the grass, watching the clouds, making up stories and trying to catch them. This is what french artist Laurent Millet did in his dreamy series ‘Nuées’. In his own words: ‘They are very much inspired by my experience of the landscape and my rêveries about architecture. Or I should say my reverie about the image of architecture. Or the architecture of images that are made of such material like glass and that they become almost real. This series is one among others that was done after the reading of Gaston Bachelard.’ We just love this simple but charming idea of catching the clouds in little glass boxes. What do you think?
