Artist Julian Charriere dyed 35 pigeons with a ‘pigeon apparatus’. The machine works as a bird trap with a conveyor belt mechanism, ones inside the machine the pigeon get automatically airbrushed in different colors. The machine was installed for a week on a roof in Copenhagen. Afterwards the colorful birds were released once again to mingle with the other pigeons in the wild. The artist wanted to change the perspective on our daily reality by adding something strange to the picture that you might notice with just a glimpse.

Dach in Kopenhagen? Das ist aber ein schönes Kopenhagen, wenn es wie Venedig aussieht. Sachen gibts. Nicht nur die Tauben eingefärbt, nein, gleich die ganze Stadt. :-)

ganz nett.. aber die tauben tun mir leid.. hoffentlich werde ich nie gefangen und muss danach blau - rot - grün - gefärbt rumlaufen!

ja seltsam... kopenhagen und venedig, ist ja quasi gleich neben an... also was stimmt hier nicht?! unhabängig davon finde ich es eine frechheit sowas zu machen... tauben, ja die ratten der lüfte aber möchte mal sehen wie die leute reagieren wenn man das mit z.b. katzen macht...
