THE AVANT/GARDE DIARIES: TAIPEI

The Avant/Garde Diaries event series is traveling to Taipei for a festival curated by pop-star ‘A-MIT’ from November 9-11. Various artists from the fields of art, fashion, and music will come together to explore the connection between the past and the future – the sanctity of tradition and the promise of technological innovation. The three-day event takes place in Taipei’s Huashan 1914 Creative Park, an early twentieth-century winery turned twenty-first century art destination. Eight established and rising Taiwanese sound, light, and digital media artists will use curator A-MIT’s voice in a range of interactive and all-encompassing works, showcasing the vibrant technological innovations of a country on the cutting edge.

Is there any chance to convince you not to enable autoplay in videos you're embedding?
It scares the s--t out of me when it preloads somewhere at the bottom of my RSS feed, especially when I'm already listening to some music.
