The Edge House

‘The Edge House’ by STARH Stanislavov Architects is situated in a suburban area near the city of Varna, Bulgaria within a virgin forest environment. Functionally built, the shape of the building is progressive and dynamic. All of the rooms are oriented south, towards the sea. A large curtain wall ensures a good link between the space inside and the outside world. The combination of bare concrete and glass underlines the originality of the architecture and contributes to the longevity of the house.

Alias

The sculpture ‘Alias’ seems like a strange indefinable creature. It was created for the Orangery Palace Rheda by Miriam Jonas. In forty seconds rhythm the structure made of transparent PVC is filled with air from a blower. Once the fan is turned off, air escapes from the Sculpture and almost breathing, it seems as if it is has come to life.

House in Nagahama
