Paul Octavious is a photographer and designer, currently living in Chicago. His little photo project ‘Lean with it’ is literally exactly this: people leaning at the same angles of random trees he found on his journeys, like they both were shaped by the natural elements. Thereby the photos radiate an atmosphere of calmness and relatedness to nature. He loves shooting a subject or a single object over a period of time and how it changes during this, which became somehow a catalyst for his work. You can see this transformation in the lovely detail of two photos at the very same location, one in wintertime and one in summer.
