Photographer Léo Caillard shot the series ‘Miami Houses’. It is showing different lifeguard houses on Miami´s beaches, which are all very different in form and color. Through repetition the same strict formal composition, the function of the subject gradually fades and an analysis of the form of the subject is coming to the fore.

ich glaube, dass jeder, der schon mal dort war genau diese motive in seinem photoalbum hat. die meisten sogar mit der gleichen himmelsstimmung. smile

Im Gegensatz zu seinen restlichen Arbeiten ist diese Serie ziemlich unspektakulär.
