Young american artist Sarah Pease is currently studying furniture design at Rhode Island School of Design. For her project ‘audioJar’ she built a speaker system out of ordinary goods you can find in every household. She used the Open Source Instruction ‘Fab Speakers’ as an orientation to build up the electronic system.

Ich finde dabei am faszinierensten, dass mal wieder jemand mit öffentlich und kostenlos zugänglichen Anleitungen so was tolles gebaut hat. Erinnert mich ein wenig an die Geschichte von William Kamkwamba der in Africa nur aus Büchern der lokalen Bücherei gelernt hat wie man eine Windrad zum baut.
