Colleen and Eric designed the bookshelf ‘Hold on Thight’ which is also finalist in the Dwell and Design Within Reach Live/Work contest. The shelf has a bright, over-sized wing nut serving as a bookend, which slides into place and can be adjusted and secured wherever it is needed.
The two Brooklyn designers met while studying industrial design and were brought together over a shared love of offbeat design. Now they are striking out on their own, working out of a home studio in Bushwick Brooklyn. They are a design consultancy, small-scale manufacturer, and idea factory. Their products strive to provoke thought, or at least make you smile, while upholding the highest standards of craft, quality and sustainability. Also ich weiß ja nicht, evt. fehlt mir auch der interlektuelle Zugang. Aber ich finde es einfach nur belanglos...
