Mitsuko Nagone wächst in Owase, einer kleinen Stadt im Süden Japans auf. Sie zieht nach Tokio um Fotografie am College of Tokyo Visual Arts zu studieren. Im Jahr 2002 wird ihre Arbeit im Metropolitan Art Museum in Tokio ausgestellt. Danach zieht sie nach New York, um ihr Studium am LaGuardia Community College fortzusetzen. Seitdem wurden ihre Fotografien unter anderem im New York Passport und dem NYC Travel Guide Magazine veröffentlicht.

I must say I love the exotic air of the photographs. I specially admire the use of light and shadow in the orange dress and cups girl photograph. Truly artistic.
